Course Overview: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitations (CPR) is a
lifesaving technique used for various emergent situations such as heart attacks
or near-drownings, where the victim's heartbeat or breathing has stopped.
Performing CPR keeps oxygenated blood flowing to the brain and other vital
organs until a normal heart rhythm can be restored.
Training includes:
- History of CPR
- When to Perform CPR
- Who Should Perform CPR
- How to Perform CPR on Adults, Children, and Infants
- Use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
